Striped bass fishing 6-3-06
Had a trip with Jerry Flavelini and his family from Vermont.The weather forecast said northeast winds gusting to 30 miles an hour,I called the night before to reschedule but they could not and wanted to go.When we left at 6a.m it was calm with light rain.The weather man blew it again.Went to an area called wood end in p-town, the fish were on the surface feeding all day.We trolled niner rigs in 150 feet of water with non-stop action most of the day.They caught about 40 bass up to 40 inches and kept 12.We also caught the first bluefish of the season on my boat.
